Piano Migrations at Lisboa Soa

I had the wonderful opportunity to show Piano Migrations at an incredible location, the Estufa Fria (cold greenhouse) in Lisbon for Lisboa Soa festival in September 2019. The location was stunning and the whole festival was inspiring with a range of very thoughtful, beautiful and captivating installations and performances. Check out the programme here. For the opening night, Matthew Olden and I performed live with the piano around a lake in the adjoining ‘warm greenhouse’, which was the perfect setting. We moved the piano to a watery cave for the rest of the festival. Here is a video below followed by photos by Vera Marmelo of the performance and installation.

Thanks to Raquel Castro, Sara Simões, Marta Fonseca, Thomas Kahrel, Carmo Medeiros, Carla Martinez, Helder Nelson, Vera Marmelo, Monica Jardim and the whole Lisboa Soa amazing team and artists involved.
