HEAR WATER project

From April to October, myself and Matthew Olden have been collaborating with researchers at Bath Spa University, (Freshwater Ecologist Ian Thornhill; Professor of Music, Amanda Bayley and Social Scientist Sarah Hobbs), Bristol based Community Arts Organisation IMALYA, and around 25 young people to build a deeper relationship with our local rivers, streams and waterways through listening underwater, making DIY hydrophones, being citizen scientists, and getting creative with the materials we discovered…. here is a short summary of the project, which was premiered at the IMAX cinema at Bristol Aquarium on Monday 3rd October, and will continue to screen there for the visiting public to enjoy… HERE is a link to the project on Bath Spa University website…
