Cove Park Residency
Just returned from a wonderful 2 week residency at Cove Park near Loch Lomond in Scotland. I went with Matthew Olden to work further on my new installation Tipping Point, a commission from Cryptic Glasgow. After an intensive week at the University of Bristol’s Physics Glass and Mechanical workshop – getting many parts finalised, I was immersed in the rugged Scottish landscape of Cove Park, to really focus on putting the installation together for the first time to work on the sound – and for Matthew to work on the control software… I was very pleased that I managed to set up 4 pairs of glass tubes – all moving slowly, changing and exchanging water levels to directly effect the tones of feedback inside the tubes.
